Last month, Stella & Dot launched a line of tops called Maette (it means little sister in Chinese)! I got to see our first collection of tops when I went to Vegas in July and let me tell you I could not wait to get my hands on a few of them. As a stylist, I knew our design team would not disappoint and I loved that the designs were centered on cuts and styles that pair best with our accessories.
Now that I’ve had the tops for a few weeks I’ve been able to style them and wear them around town like the Lady Gaga concert last week, work, and brunch with friends.
Since fit is something I struggle with a lot when shopping, I wanted to show you all how they look on me (I’m a size 10/12, M/L, and hourglass shaped for reference). So without further adieu…
The Lyla – I don’t personally wear a lot of white or cream, but I love the mix of cream and gold in the Lyla. The metallic tones weave together to create a boho inspired chevron pattern and the tunic shape is right up my alley. Plus the feminine bell sleeve is super on trend and features elastic so the length is totally up to you.
The Emillie – I love the simple silhouette of this top. It’s really taken to the next level with the beautiful crisscross detailing. It’s the right amount of sexy and fun. Perfect for date night!
The Willow – This an elevated everyday tee with trendy cut-out details to show off your shoulders. I’m wearing it with a jacket because it’s been cool here in Chicago. So even with the cut-out detail, it will transition perfectly into fall.
There will be some full looks coming to the blog soon, but I was excited to share these with you all today. Plus we have several new tops launching tomorrow. If you’re interested in seeing those, be sure to follow me over on instagram.
